Whisper Valley is a master planned community encompassing over 2,000 acres in Austin, Texas. The community is designed to be eco-friendly and will include 7,500 homes and apartments, and 2 million square feet of commercial space.
WGI is providing engineering services for several elements of the overall development, including the amenity center, which has been dubbed the
Community and Discovery Center. It consists of two energy-neutral buildings that will be heated and cooled by geothermal energy. It also includes a resort-style pool, fitness center, playscape area, and several walking trails.
The site has been designed to use two biofiltration ponds to control the stormwater quality.
