Will Schnier, PE

Will Schnier serves as WGI’s Chief Marketing Officer and is a licensed Professional Engineer in more than 30 states. Will leads the firm’s national branding and marketing strategy, including digital campaigns, print communications, and event marketing.

Prior to joining WGI, Will was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of BIG RED DOG Engineering and Consulting. During his tenure as CEO, the company was the fastest-growing engineering firm in Texas for nearly a decade before being acquired by WGI in 2019.

Drawing on extensive experience in project review, regulatory permitting, project management, and engineering design, Will has overseen hundreds of development projects across the country, spanning residential, mixed-use, industrial, and oil and gas sectors. Will also sat on the City of Austin Board of Zoning Adjustment from 2011 to 2015 through a mayoral appointment and has been a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin Board of Directors. Will holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
