1391 Speer Boulevard Parking Garage Restoration

The parking structure at 1391 Speer Boulevard Office Building is a 3-level garage constructed of post-tensioned concrete slabs. Access to the top-level is by ramps located on the west side of the deck. The structure is used for employee and public parking.

In 2004, WGI was retained to provide repair details and specifications that would allow the necessary restoration of a stair tower in the garage.

And in 2007, WGI was contracted to evaluate the structure and provide repair recommendations in an appraisal report that identified post-tensioning structural repairs. In the same year, WGI developed Construction Documents for bidding, assisted the owners through the bidding process and the structural repairs.
