The Little River Bridge is a historic bridge with multiple large arching culverts with stone siding in a rural area of Suwannee County, east of McAlpin. Traveling over the bridge is a rural two-lane asphalt highway with a small winding river passing underneath. Upon inspection, the bridge showed signs of structural deficiencies in need of improvements. WGI provided a bridge detail survey of the unique structure, a topographic survey of the adjoining roadway, and multiple cross-sections along Little River. This allowed engineers to properly determine the best design for this bridge.
