WGI was an integral part of the development team that helped the ALDI Corporation locate and develop a regional distribution center on 73 acres in the Village of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. ALDI Park consists of over 400,000 square feet of distribution and office space, a 17,018-square foot grocery store, and six outparcels for future development on approximately
73 acres.
WGI coordinated public meetings with adjacent homeowners concerned about impacts from the project. To alleviate concerns, WGI planned additional plantings to enhance buffers between the project and adjacent neighbors. Native, drought-tolerant vegetation was used throughout the project.
Our team handled the Site Planning, Zoning and Land Use entitlements, Environmental, Landscape Architecture, Irrigation, and Hardscape design. This facility is the critical component that has allowed ALDI to expand into the South Florida market.
