Annexation Feasibility Study

The Village of North Palm Beach enlisted WGI to spearhead their Annexation Feasibility Study for the involuntary annexation of three areas located in unincorporated Palm Beach County, Florida. The Village had contemplated this annexation for several years and was ready to move forward with the Feasibility Study phase, with WGI as their trusted partner in the effort.

Leveraging our seasoned planning team, WGI worked with department directors to examine the available data to conduct a complete inventory of all aspects of Village services in the affected study areas, ensuring the Village had the capacity to serve these areas if annexed. WGI also meticulously evaluated these areas’ land use, zoning, and population estimates. Drawing upon our team’s expertise, we generated maps specific to these areas, showing the location of all Village services to satisfy Florida Statute requirements. All sections of the Florida Statutes regarding involuntary annexation were followed to generate a feasibility study that would allow the Village to move forward in working with property owners to explore annexation into the Village.
