With City funding and a clear vision for the future, the City of West Palm Beach partnered with the WGI team to host five open houses, one for each of the City’s Commission Districts, to inform West Palm Beach residents about the services, initiatives, and policies implemented by each of the City’s departments and gain community feedback on key concerns. Each event featured over a dozen booths dedicated to specific City departments, and a booth for each District’s commissioners.
Our team designed three to five boards for each booth to showcase important information. Residents had opportunities to engage through interactive voting, visioning exercises, and a chance for open discussions on pressing issues. The City was enthusiastic about the feedback and data gathered. The events were also covered by local media outlets. With our experience and expertise, WGI recognized the importance and complexity of the robust collaboration and planning required to achieve the City’s goals. The team worked seamlessly with each department, each individual commissioner, and the mayor to create a comprehensive event summary report, enabling the City to review the feedback cohesively and make informed decisions on future actions.
