WGI played a key role in advancing the Starratt Road multifamily development in Jacksonville, Florida, now known as Adley Luxe, by delivering a broad range of integrated services that supported the 8-acre site from early due diligence through design and permitting. Working across disciplines, environmental, survey, traffic, subsurface utility engineering, landscape architecture, and civil engineering, WGI shaped this 200-unit residential community to serve the growing workforce near major employment and transportation hubs, including the Amazon Distribution Center and Jacksonville International Airport.
A standout aspect of WGI’s contribution was its multidisciplinary coordination, which helped align grading, drainage, stormwater management, and amenity improvements with both site performance goals and regulatory requirements. During a challenging permit period marked by mitigation credit delays, WGI worked closely with the St. Johns River Water Management District to secure an approved phased construction approach that allowed upland development to begin while wetland impacts were deferred until credits became available. This proactive solution reduced schedule risk, avoided costly delays, and demonstrated WGI’s ability to deliver practical, forward-thinking strategies to keep this complex development moving.
