The Northeast Everglades Natural Area (NENA) is a collection of conservation lands (165,000 acres) lying in northern Palm Beach County and southern Martin County, including Bluegill Trail. The nine-mile multi-use trail is located along the east side of C-18 Canal, offering access to four conservation lands and visitor facilities; Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area, Grassy Waters Preserve, Karen T. Marcus Sandhill Crane Access Park and Riverbend Park.
