WGI designed a 168-foot long by 10-foot wide steel truss pedestrian spanning bridge over the C-18 Canal offering access to bicyclists and pedestrians utilizing the Bluegill Trail.
The Northeast Everglades Natural Area (NENA) is a collection of conservation lands (165,000 acres) lying in northern Palm Beach County and southern Martin County, including Bluegill Trail. The nine-mile multi-use trail is located along the east side of C-18 Canal, offering access to four conservation lands and visitor facilities; Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area, Grassy Waters Preserve, Karen T. Marcus Sandhill Crane Access Park and Riverbend Park.
