The Cal Poly University Grand Avenue Parking Garage is a cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete structure. There are three supported levels and one slab-on-grade. The garage was originally constructed in 2001. Overall, the structure was in excellent condition; however, there were concerns about waterproofing and miscellaneous maintenance issues.
WGI completed a condition appraisal of the structure and provided recommendations for repair. These included sealant repairs, minor concrete repairs, safety improvements, repairs to barrier rail strands, painting, and general maintenance.
