The Seventh Street Station Parking Structure, constructed in 1988, is a cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete slab and beam system of 10 levels where the bottom level contains both commercial and loading dock areas. The garage was performing well; however, some general concrete and waterproofing repairs were needed to avoid larger future maintenance costs.Â
The 201 Tryon Street Parking Structure has 10 levels of parking, one of which is on grade at street level. The garage is constructed of precast concrete double tees, columns, and walls and was constructed in 1997. The structure was experiencing some moisture infiltration; general maintenance and minor repairs were recommended.Â
The TransAmerica Square Parking Structure has two levels of parking located below grade. The structure was completed in 1997 and is composed of cast-in-place concrete beams and columns. The garage was experiencing significant water infiltration from the plaza areas above. Immediate repair items included the replacement of expansion joints, sealants at construction joints and cracks, and addressing the water infiltration problem.Â
