The Seelbach Garage is located on Fifth Street, directly behind the Seelbach Hotel, in Louisville. The garage consists of two separate structures; the original was constructed in the 1960s and the newer structure in 1981. The garage consists of 5 supported parking levels and one slab-on-grade level and provides parking for a total of approximately 975 vehicles. The original structure is composed of pre-cast double tee beams with a cast-in-place composite concrete topping slab, supported by pre-cast spandrel beams and columns. The newer section of the structure consists of cast-in-place post-tensioned long-span beams. 

WGI reviewed the parking structure condition and provided updated recommendations for repairs. WGI was also retained to perform design, bidding, and construction administration services for the recommended repair program currently in the construction phase.
