City of Naperville - Water Street Parking Garage Owner's Representative

WGI provided consulting services to the City of Naperville to act as their Owner’s Representative for the review of the functional and structural design and construction of the six-level precast parking deck in the Water Street District of Naperville. The construction review included the assessment of construction costs, change orders and applications for payment.

• Functional review: Layout, circulation, traffic geometry, accessibility
• Durability review for service life, maintenance, and life cycle costs
• General conformance with City’s goals, building codes, and quality design
• Review of floor slopes and drainage

Construction Review of:

• Shop drawings, RFI’s, geotechnical and material testing reports
• Participated in project meetings
• Mock-ups and production at precast concrete fabrication plant
• Site observation of the progress and quality of work
• Site observation reports and memorandum regarding project progress
• Change order requests and applications for payment
• Punchlist, as-built drawings, warranties, and other close-out documents
