WGI assisted the City and architect with the development of the landscape plans that were utilized for site plan approval and implemented into the Design Criteria Package for the redevelopment of the existing Public Works facility located at 450 SW Thornhill Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, Florida. The landscape design aimed to showcase the retention pond as a focal point when viewed from the adjacent roadway and intersection, offering Florida native wetland and transitional plantings to provide biodiversity to the site. Enhanced buffers were provided to screen the facility’s buildings and equipment while improving the streetscape and curb appeal.
