Market:
Stormwater Management, Water & Environment
Location:
Port St. Lucie, FL

Project Details

WGI is partnering with the City of Port St. Lucie to provide professional design services for the development of construction drawings and permitting of the Hogpen Slough Stormwater Treatment Area (STA) project. WGI will prepare construction plans, including design, survey, environmental report, hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and drainage report, including pollutant load reduction modeling, site plan of the STA, structural design for replacement of the weir structure, project permitting, and geotechnical exploration and evaluation. WGI performed a tree inventory, gopher tortoise burrow survey, and environmental impact report study evaluating natural resources located within the subject property during early works. Early detection of natural resources was imperative to incorporate avoidance and minimization into the project plans at the early design stage.

Project Cost $226,000.00
