Quantum Foundation and WGI, in collaboration with community advocates, developed a master plan for the Coleman Park Neighborhood that builds on the 2009 improvement plan and outlines steps to achieve the community’s vision. Guided by the Purpose-Built Communities goals of health and wellness, cradle-to-career education, economic vitality, and mixed-income housing, the plan serves as a roadmap for future investment and development
Key services provided include conducting interviews with key stakeholders who have specific knowledge of the community, developing a shared vision of the neighborhood, collecting and analyzing GIS data to gain an understanding of the current neighborhood fabric, identifying short term and long term goals, and identifying projects and next steps to accomplish the established goals.
The history of Coleman Park is rich and dynamic. The development of an updated neighborhood master plan will help to create a vibrant Coleman Park community that honors its history and expands opportunities for existing and future residents.
