County Road 714 (Martin Highway) Environmental Assessment

County Road 714 is located in Palm City, Martin County, Florida. The project included an assessment of the approximate 3 acre property along the south side of County Road 714 for future expansion under a continuing services contract with FDOT. Wantman Group, Inc. (WGI) environmental staff evaluated the property for potential jurisdictional wetlands located on the property in order to provide FDOT potential costs for impacting the wetlands and providing the necessary compensatory mitigation at an approved wetland mitigation bank. In addition, WGI staff determined the limits of the remaining wetlands and the upland buffer requirements as required by the Martin County Growth Management Department for this proposed roadway project. This information was utilized in order to further define project limits and setback requirements to the environmentally sensitive areas on the project site.
