Duke Raleigh Hospital Parking Consulting Services

Project Details

This suburban 28-acre campus in Raleigh, NC offers a 184-bed hospital, seven Medical Office Buildings (MOBs), and three self-parking garages. Since acquiring the hospital in 1998, Duke Health has invested more than $120M in the campus through building additions and renovations to increase capacity and services offered.

Since 2017, WGI has provided extensive design, planning, restoration, and general parking consulting services to Duke Health for multiple projects, including:

  • Strategic parking plans for the campus and the feasibility of adding parking structures at various locations
  • Functional modifications of two existing garages to improve circulation and increase parking supply by 191 spaces
  • Parking operations plans focused on emergency department traffic, pedestrian safety and access, and patient parking availability during ongoing construction and into the future
  • Comprehensive repair program for all campus parking structures
