FDOT D3 Districtwide SUE Services

In July 2020, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) commissioned WGI to provide Districtwide Subsurface Utility Designation and Location Services for District Three (D3), a second consecutive award for WGI, allowing for an additional five years of continued success from our previous five-year contract. Support for this Districtwide contract is provided on a Task Work Order (TWO) basis as needs arise (WGI successfully managed 65 TWOs on the previous contract). For the term of this contract, 2020-2025, WGI anticipates similar services on multiple TWOs, including accurate horizontal and vertical locations of existing underground utilities using electromagnetic, sonic, or other geophysical location techniques, permitting, providing appropriate maintenance of traffic (MOT), direct coordination with D3 and utility/agency owners (UAOs), and emergency response as directed by the District.
