The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is one of the country’s fastest-growing airports, employing nearly 36,000 people with an annual economic impact of $2.3B. 

WGI developed a forecast of future parking-demand, based on expected changes in airline facilities and activity. 

WGI performed an analysis of its growth trends and their expected effect on parking demand, based on statistical relationships between parking demand and passenger volume. 

The analysis considered passenger-volume limitations related to the number of gates, including potential changes in airline market shares and differences in gate-turn practices potentially impacting the effective terminal capacity.
