WGI provided planning, preliminary engineering, landscape architecture, and environmental services for the University’s football and soccer stadium on their flagship campus in West Palm Beach, Florida. The stadium includes an NCAA regulation artificial turf football and soccer field, bleachers, scoreboard, lighting, a field house, and athletic offices. The initial capacity of the stadium is 2,500 seats, with a future build-out of 5,000 to 6,000 seats.
In addition to the preliminary design of the athletic fields, WGI designed the on-site water management system, water and sanitary system, restroom facilities, and pedestrian walkways. WGI also provided various surveying services, including boundary and topographical surveys, and utility location.
