Larry C. Hardy Parking Structure

WGI provided multiple condition assessments and structural evaluations of the Larry C. Hardy Parking Structure. The reviews included a visual examination of floor and ceiling surfaces, structural elements and their supports, façade, and stairwells in determining quantities and locations of deterioration. Non-destructive testing was performed to assess the most vulnerable slab areas. A number of issues impacting the durability of the structures were observed. The repair program included precast concrete repair (tee flange, columns, corbels, tee stems), sealant replacement, expansion joint replacement, sealer application, and deck coating in selected areas.
