Old Port Cove Quay Seawall

WGI performed the design for the repair of seawalls at the Old Port Cove Condominium. This seawall design utilized native rock rubble with a submerged toe wall. The environmentally friendly system has encouraged plant growth and created wildlife habitats. This seawall will protect the upland property at a third of the cost of a new seawall.

In order to avoid and minimize impacts to Johnson Seagrass intermittent portions of the wall were replaced with vertical seawall and concrete pile cap.
