Park Place Missoula

The Missoula Downtown Master Plan included encouraging visitors to come and stay for prolonged periods. It identified the need for more parking at the south end of the downtown area, and so a new parking structure was erected on the southeast corner of Front and Platte Streets. Consisting of five levels, one below grade, with mixed-use retail space on the ground floor, the structure provides 341 parking spaces for retail customers and employees, as well as leasable spaces for employees in nearby offices.

As so many Master Plans include aesthetic considerations, the façade of this addition to the downtown district is comprised of anodized panels that change colors as the sun reflects on its path across the skyline. Solar panels run the perimeter of the garage on the roof level.
