The Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport conducted a technology assessment for their current operation. WGI provided a planning analysis identifying the requirements of a future PARCS system that would meet the demands of changes in technology, Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, and customer expectations. In addition, this project kicked off at the beginning of the pandemic.
To be sure that recommendations were all-encompassing, COVID-friendly technology was included as part of the assessment. Using our industry experience in parking technology, WGI provided recommendations on the best approach to future technology for the airport’s operation. In addition, we provided an analysis of expanding parking management to the airport’s administration lot. This analysis included operations, staffing, enforcement, and technology. WGI also provided design options for a gated operation for the administration lot.
