Racetrac Petroleum has utilized WGI’s Civil Department for several sites across South Florida. From retrofits and corrections in St. Lucie County to new construction and renovations in Palm Beach County. WGI’s Civil Department designed the drainage, water quality, utility connections, access designs, and site permitting for these locations.

• Challenges for some of the sites included coordinating utilities around existing facilities in shopping center subdivisions, turn lane extensions and adjustments, directional water and force main design across six-lane highways, and annexation from County to City for various reasons.
