Rocky Hill Equipment

WGI provided civil engineering services for the 4-acre site located in Selma, Texas. The project developed a +/-18,000 square-foot heavy construction equipment rental administrative office and maintenance facility with a stand-alone wash bay to serve the rental equipment. WGI provided site planning, platting, survey, site and utility design, and floodplain analysis.

Project Highlights:

• WGI worked closely with the owner and architect to develop a site plan to meet the needs of the operation as well as the development standards of the municipality. WGI coordinated with TxDOT to negotiate site access from the adjacent state highway, IH-35 S. WGI also provided a floodplain analysis and model for the floodplain that encroached into the site. This allowed the project to maximize the developable area and mitigate downstream impacts from the development.
