San Antonio Water System Central Sewershed Package 7

SAWS Sewershed Package 7 included Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of 163 LF of 8-inch, 2,594 LF of 24-inch, and 836 LF of 54-inch sewer lines and multiple MH structures within the UIW campus. Stakeholder engagement, routing for bypass pumping, and development of a complex and efficient TCP were critical scope items addressed by the design team. WGI’s team coordinated internally during the development of the TCP to allow for efficient traffic flow throughout the campus while minimizing impact to stakeholders, faculty, campus workers, and students. Through extensive stakeholder coordination, our team prepared construction documents to ensure the constructability of this project was given the numerous constraints. Construction is slated for summer 2020.
