Awarded a continuing services contract in 2016, WGI is tasked with providing complete surveying and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services for the various landfill sites throughout Palm Beach County. These services include layout and staking of new cell areas, volumetric surveys, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, legal descriptions, easement staking, construction layout on the active landfill, and quantity surveys to record annual volumes.
WGI provides bathymetric surveys as required, subsurface utility location and designations under the Sunshine One Call system, terrestrial mobile scanning (LiDAR), and Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) mapping to meet the client’s needs.
Utilizing this technology, WGI can provide more accurate deliverables in a faster timeframe than with conventional methodologies, thus reducing the long term cost and schedule for the client.
