Spectrum Health Systems Parking Structures Evaluation and Restoration

Project Details

WGI has been providing restoration engineering services for Spectrum Health since 1991. The most recent was a repair project involving repairs to four parking structures located in downtown Grand Rapids. Items included: 

  • Repair extensive slab topside and underside concrete delaminations 
  • Remove/replace steel beam/column sections 
  • Remove/replace all barrier/bumper cables 
  • Apply sealers to supported concrete slabs (ramps 6 and 7) 
  • Reapply deck coating at expansion joints and construction joint 
  • Restripe all parking structures
