Sun Lakes Park

Sun Lakes Park playground renovation fulfills Miami-Dade’s goal of shifting from the traditional prefabricated playgrounds to incorporating nature-inspired components into the design while also providing two new basketball courts per the County’s master site plan. The playground includes an embankment play area with different climbing elements focused on providing different vantage points of nature through the variety of play experiences provided. The playground design offers improvements to the park’s circulation paths while preserving and accentuating all existing amenities.
