Texas State University Matthews Parking Facility

Situated on a terraced site, the first two levels of this 954-space parking structure on Matthews Street are below grade on two sides, requiring extensive earth retention walls. The campus Parking Services Administration Building was integrated into the west end of this facility as part of this project. The parking structure provides parking for students, faculty/staff, and visitors.

The architectural design, which includes brick and stone façade and clay tile roofing, is consistent with the campus’ Spanish Colonial style.
