Washington Dulles International Airport New Parking Structures

WGI served as parking consultant and parking consultant during the programming, design, and construction of two parking facilities at Washington Dulles International Airport. Both facilities have a cast-in-place/post-tensioned structural system and five levels. The north flank parking garage has 4,740 spaces, and the west flank parking garage has 4,000 spaces.

Below-grade moving sidewalks and at-grade shuttle buses transport pedestrians between the parking structures and the terminal building.

Project Highlights

• The west flank parking garage was designed to accommodate a future Metrorail station for the airport
• Both structures are designed for future vertical and horizontal expansion
