WGI provided structural engineering services for the retrofit of the YES Prep Southside School and Home Office. This facility was designed to eliminate  educational inequity by partnering with the Southside community. It is also the new home office for YES Prep. The campus side of the building currently provides for 660 Students from 6th to 8th grade. The home office is the central hub for 150 staff and teachers, constantly working to provide educational opportunities. WGI’s services included new foundations added for the elevator pit and folding  partition supports. In addition, WGI provided a column base repair for some of the existing foundations discovered during demolition work.
