The 34th Annual Transportation Supersession, held at Tampa Bay's Armature Works, was nothing short of a resounding success!
With the theme of “Recharging Mobility in Florida,” this year’s event brought together transportation professionals, agencies, and innovators to explore solutions for enhancing mobility throughout the state.

Exhibitor Reception and Networking Opportunities
This year's Supersession kicked off with an exhibitor reception where WGI found itself standing tall as a hub for innovation and multi-disciplinary pursuits - And with a dynamic and enthusiast team in attendance, one could say that our exhibit was not one to be missed. We extend a special thanks to our own Shannon Wright, Project Manager, and Carlos Sotolongo Mantecon, Geomaticist for setting us up for success, and to our Geospatial team for managing the booth, and showcasing some of our award-winning projects and service offerings!

Key presentations offered a deep dive into the challenges and opportunities shaping Florida’s transportation landscape. Discussions opened with a focus on the Port of Tampa Bay’s strategic initiatives, highlighting its significant capital improvements and vital role in driving economic growth as the state’s largest port. Next, the conversation shifted to the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority's efforts to enhance mobility and quality of life for local residents through innovative urban transportation solutions. The session concluded with an overview of regional transportation planning, outlining forward-looking strategies for improving infrastructure and ensuring seamless connectivity across the district.
