WGI recently announced a new membership with the North Houston Association (NHA) at the association’s January General Membership Luncheon that was attended by WGI's Jacob Gonzalez and Victor Cordova. The NHA identifies, advocates, and supports projects and initiatives that advance the business environment and improve the quality of life for more than one million residents in North Harris and Montgomery County, TX.

NHA members comprise more than 100 companies, including engineering firms, development companies, and major employers located within and doing business within NHA's service area. WGI's David Millikan has been an active member of NHA with previous employers, received the organization’s Compass Award for making significant contributions to the NHA's programs and projects in 1999, and was a board member for several years during the 2000s.

WGI Houston office employees and David plan on being active members on the association’s Development Trends, Transportation, and Environment Committees, which allow members to interact and develop relationships with other members and representatives from local cities, counties, and other public agencies on a regular basis.
WGI’s active involvement in organizations similar to NHA demonstrates our dedication to the development and economic prosperity of the local communities in which we live and work, and to the development of our employees through leadership, volunteerism, and the firm’s sponsorship of these local and regional organizations.
