Elias Ortiz joins WGI in Houston Office
(Houston, TX – September 30, 2019) WGI is pleased to announce that Elias Ortiz joined the firm’s Civil Division as a designer in its Houston office. Elias Ortiz comes to WGI with over seven years of experience with specific expertise in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
Elias holds an AutoCAD degree from Capital City Trade and Technical School.
Mike Oler joins WGI in Dallas Office
(Dallas, TX – October 9, 2019) WGI is pleased to announce that Mike Oler joined the firm’s Structural Division as a market leader in its Dallas office. Mike comes to WGI with over seven years of experience with specific expertise in private development and public sector work.
Mike is a registered Professional Engineer and holds two bachelor's degrees in Architecture and Engineering, and a master's degree in Architecture from Texas Tech University. He is an active member of the Structural Engineering Association of Texas.
Joel Mercado-See joins WGI in Austin Office
(Austin, Texas – October 2019) WGI is pleased to announce that Joel Mercado-See joined the firm’s Structural Division as a BIM technician in its Austin office. Joel comes to WGI to start a new career after nearly 30 years in the music and theatre industries.
Joel holds an AAS degree in Music Business, Performance, and Technology from Austin Community College. He will be completing an AAS degree in Architectural and Engineering CAD with an Architecture Specialization.
Gilberto Claudio joins WGI in Jacksonville Office
(Jacksonville, FL – October 7, 2019) WGI is pleased to announce that Gilberto Claudio joined the firm’s Geospatial Division as an instrument operator in its Jacksonville office. Gilberto comes to WGI with over two years of experience in land surveying and recently graduated in May 2019.
Gilberto is a registered Land Surveyor and holds a bachelor's degree in Surveying and Topography from the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus (UPRM). He is an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
Stacy Rodgers joins WGI in San Antonio Office
(San Antonio, Texas – October 14, 2019) WGI is pleased to announce that Stacy Rodgers joined the firm’s Civil Division as a senior designer in its San Antonio office. Stacy comes to WGI with over 15 years of experience with specific expertise in single-family/multi-family residential, commercial, and private and public projects in various cities throughout central and south Texas.
Stacy holds an AS degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design from ITT-Technical Institute and an AS degree from Northwest Vista. Stacy intends on finishing her engineering degree within the next few years. She is an active member of the Texas Floodplain Management Association as a CFM.
