WGI performed a condition appraisal of the parking garage to quantify deterioration and damage to the concrete structure and waterproofing systems. We prepared a survey report complete with observations, findings, recommendations, and updated opinions of probable repair costs over the next 10-year period.
WGI performed design, bidding, and construction administration services in 2008 for recommended immediate repairs at the garage entrance level. In 2012-2013, WGI performed an updated evaluation and provided design and construction administration services for the recommended structural and waterproofing repairs throughout the garage. Repairs included:
- Concrete patching repairs to the slabs, beams, and columns
- Installation of carbon fiber reinforcement
- Extensive repairs to the post-tensioning within the floor slabs on the lower levels of the garage
- Installation of supplemental steel beams at the upper floors
