Akoya Boca West County Club

Akoya is a 165,000-square foot luxury condominium building with two nine-story towers, one ten-story tower, and an underground parking deck within the prestigious Boca West Country Club community. WGI provided topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys and civil engineering services to accommodate the design, permitting, and construction of the project. Due to the limited space for the on-site utilities and building foundation, WGI’s civil site design required using innovative design and construction techniques to accommodate two 60-inch drainage culverts, wastewater collection pipes, and a looped 10-inch force main. The network of 60-inch culverts was constructed to replace an existing on-site drainage ditch that was filled to accommodate the start of construction.

WGI successfully obtained permits from the South Florida Water Management District, Lake Worth Drainage District, City of Boca Raton, and Palm Beach County Health Department.
