WGI’s Land Design Services Division provided landscape and irrigation design services for the 48,800 square-foot Institute of Public Safety building located on the main campus of Broward Community College in Davie. This facility provides high quality training and educational needs for most local and state law enforcement and fire science agencies in South Florida. The facility was designed adjacent to the existing public safety building and special consideration was given to retaining much of the existing landscape and limiting damage from demolition and construction. The use of large sweeping beds of shrubs enabled us to create a visual interest upon entry to the building.
