Capmetro Downtown Station

Project Details

CMTA’s new Downtown Station will serve as a public gathering space and an architectural gateway into downtown. While the station and adjacent plaza will enhance the public space, its primary function will be to accommodate more frequent trains and rider capacity.

WGI provides scheduling, utility coordination (AULCC), and jurisdictional permitting support as a sub-consultant to the Downtown Gateway Partners joint venture.

The project is currently in the permitting stage, and Capital Metro anticipates that construction will be completed by the end of 2021.
