The City of Jasper is partnering with WGI, Future iQ, and JS&A to update its Comprehensive Plan, as the City has completed several high-profile projects years ahead of schedule and requires a Comprehensive Plan that accurately reflects the new reality. The plan provides the next steps for Jasper’s development by serving as the basis for land use modifications, changes in regulations, public and private investment decisions, prioritization of city funds, and efficient resource usage through smart growth principles.
As the project lead, WGI’s urban designers and planners have analyzed the existing plan and written new chapters with actionable recommendations. WGI was integral in the public engagement aspect of the plan by facilitating public and stakeholder workshops, hosting a booth at the local Strassenfest Festival, and developing graphics and promotional materials.
The final plan is actionable, implementable, and tailored to the vision the community has for the future of their city, built on the success of the past plan, forging Jasper’s path ahead as a dynamic and prosperous community.
