WGI prepared construction documents for the safety improvements to Congress Avenue from Hypoluxo Road to Donnelly Drive. The estimated project length is 0.77  miles. This project consisted of improvements to Congress Avenue (southbound side only), including the addition of a 3’ paved shoulder, curb and gutter, and 6’ sidewalk for Hypoluxo Road to Donnelly Drive. Also included in the project were improvements to the intersection of Congress Avenue and Hypoluxo Road. These improvements included adding an exclusive WB-to-NB right turn lane at the east approach and new curb ramps at all four corners of the intersection. Services included roadway, drainage, permitting, utility coordination, signing, and pavement marking.
