Historically managing more than 100 properties via a tracking spreadsheet, the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) approached WGI to develop an operations dashboard to leverage the technology and acquire a comprehensive and dynamic tool.
Cadastral and ancillary data were researched, retrieved, and processed via extract, transform, and load methods, classifying the properties by existing categories, zones, in-progress, and future projects, and adding several City of Delray Beach datasets, including land use, zoning, public parks, parking lots, and garages to a working Web Map underlying the dashboard.
The dashboard offers tools to delve into property information of interest with agility and precision, and, as part of the service, key staff were trained in efficient operation and maintenance of the product. The dashboard is hosted by the City’s enterprise portal in coordination with Delray Beach GIS.
