Huntington Parking Structure Repairs

WGI conducted an engineering condition assessment followed by the design and management of a construction project to implement recommended repairs of the Huntington Parking Structure in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The evaluation included visual observations aided by a limited chain drag to determine deterioration areas and create recommendations for a repair program. WGI partnered with DLZ to assist with the construction management for the repair program by providing site visits and field reports throughout.

The project was coming in under budget, and further repairs were added to the original project scope. The total repairs included repairing delaminated concrete, replacing damaged drain bodies, installing carbon fiber reinforcement at tee stem repairs, repairs to the precast concrete facade elements, and miscellaneous waterproofing repairs.
