The I-75 Express Lanes Segment “D” improvements include design and construction of new express lanes within the existing 166-foot wide median consisting of barrier wall separated, 4-lane tolled roadway. Each direction will have two, 12-foot travel lanes with 6-foot paved inside shoulders and 12-foot (10 feet paved) outside shoulders. The project also includes the reconstruction of the Sheridan Street Interchange.
Additional improvements include a new I-75 Express Lanes Bridge over the C-11 Canal, widening and lengthening of the existing Sheridan Street Overpass Bridge, and milling and resurfacing of the I-75 General Purpose Lanes.
