Idea Georgetown Traffic Impact Analysis

IDEA Public School Georgetown Campus is located on a 14.614-acre site at Saddecreek Avenue and Rockride Lane.

Once completed, the school will serve over 1400 students in grades K-8. The construction will occur in phases.

WGI was responsible for assisting IDEA Schools with traffic engineering services, including traffic impact analysis, turn lane analysis, all-way stop and traffic signal warrant analysis, traffic management plan to manage on-site queuing, neighborhood traffic and parking management, school pick-up and drop-off schedule management.

Project Highlights:

• Provide recommendations for traffic circulation and safety improvements.
• Provide recommendations to manage pick-up and drop-off access, queuing, and circulation to minimize disruptions to the adjacent street network.
• Provide traffic engineering guidance for turn lanes, school-related signage, pedestrian routes to/from school to adjacent intersections.
