J.W. Wildlife Management Area Camp G - Concept Planning

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) owns and manages JW
Corbett Wildlife Management Area, which spans over 60,000 acres and provides
passive and active recreation within Palm Beach County. Camp G, located in
the heart of Corbett, has been utilized by campers since before 1980. The Camp
G project formalized the existing campgrounds, including enhancement and
stabilization of existing RV and tent camping pads, new vault toilet facilities,
improvement of the existing access roads, and ADA accessibility upgrades. WGI
provided a design that satisfied the overall project objectives while meeting
required stormwater treatment and minimizing impacts to wetlands and natural
areas, including the avoidance of high-quality cypress wetlands.
