Many of the new buildings and expansion of existing buildings will displace parking spaces. The growing student population will undoubtedly increase the demand for parking spaces by students, faculty, and staff.
Some university parkers are becoming frustrated with the existing system and call for an additional on-campus parking system. Meanwhile, the master plan calls for moving towards a more pedestrian orientated campus.
Parking Services is aware that increasing the parking supply’s efficiency is a prudent approach to satisfy the increasing demand for parking spaces.
