Park Place Tempe

Building 1 is a 4-story, 193,404 square-feet wood-framed multi-family structure with 164 residential units supported by elevated cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete podium slab. In addition, there is an elevated cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete slab that supports a parking level. Building 2 is a 4-story, 150,375 square-feet wood-framed multi-family structure with 121 residential units supported by Elevated Cast-in-Place Post-Tensioned Concrete Podium Slab. Also, there is an elevated cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete slab that supports a parking level.

WGI designed a unique sky bridge that provided access to both buildings.

WGI designed a structural steel composite structure above the elevated podium to support a portion of the 4-story wood-framed structure. We designed the structural steel connections for the project.
